The COVID-19 Lockdown Controversy?
Updated: Aug 15
Should We Have Locked Down of Our Society?
Everyone understands that the purpose of the 'lockdown' was to 'flatten the COVID-19 curve' in order to avoid overwhelming our healthcare system and to allow enough time for hospitals to obtain ventilators, PPE, etc.
Also, it was hoped by Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx (US Government Corona Virus Task Force) that a lockdown would lessen the infection rate and, therefore, the death rate. The rationale was to gradually reopen the economy.
However, most people are not aware that the recommendations made by Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Deborah Birx (US) and Dr. Neil Fergusson (UK) to lockdown society (businesses and schools) represent just one approach to dealing with a pandemic.
Many leading virologists and epidemiologists believe the lockdown of society was unnecessary.
In fact, these experts believe that COVID-19's lethality was incorrectly reported by the WHO, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, and Dr. Fergusson -- and that the economic consequences of the lockdown will cause more deaths than COVID-19 itself.
What is the Answer?
Please perform your own internet search and formulate your own opinion. Below are just a sampling of reports and interviews.
It would be welcome news if COVID-19 is not as lethal as once thought.
However, the entire matter has become an intensely political and an emotional which confuses the entire discussion.

Note: Understanding your heart condition is not difficult. Patients become frustrated and confused when doctors don’t explain things clearly. If you don’t understand what your doctor is talking about, then you won’t be able to ask meaningful questions. I hope that my posts provide you with a framework that you can build upon to become an active participant in your healthcare.
